As you read this, someone out there is suffering a seizure that could be wiped out by medical pot.
There are children and adults suffering from debilitating diseases, including cancer, AIDs and Lou Gehrig’s, which could be ameliorated by medical pot. Many of them live in Florida.
But Florida remains off the list of the 23 other states that allow residents to access medical marijuana. Talk about a buzz-kill.
Whether you favor recreational pot laws or not, this is not about that. This is about providing readily-available, less expensive and effective medicine to those who need it.
